Can I still play D3 college soccer if I no longer play club but have done well in high school soccer?

I'm a junior in high school and have been thinking a lot about my future in soccer. I really don't want to stop playing but I'm not sure if i am up for the commitment of D1 soccer. I've been playing soccer since I was about three years old and later joined a club team that was ranked 2nd in state for three years. we went to state but never won the state final. I quit when i joined high school but started on varsity as a freshman, sopre, and junior in high school. I just transferred to a bigger school and am hoping I'll do just as well. The high school coach has already contacted me to persuade me to join the team because she's heard a lot about me from my old club coach. I guess I just would like to know if it's possible to make a college team for a D3 school if I no longer am part of a club team. I have won state honors in soccer, but I'm not sure if that's enough. It seems like all college coaches care about is your club team and how well you did at the showcases. I was thinking about going to a few summer camps at the colleges to see how well i do up against the other girls that are thinking about playing for that college. Is that a good idea? Schools I am thinking about are Trinity University, Pacific Lutheran University, University of Redlands, California Lutheran University, and Chapman University. I also really like Creighton University, but I believe they are D1. All answers are much appreciated. Thanks.
