Do you use a mouthwash, I have until yesterday when visiting my dentist and was told it was likely the mouthwash I use which is the leading brand mouthwash can cause an oral problem called furry tongue, this is due to increase growth of taste buds and it is usually caused as I say by using a mouthwash. No one in the dental surgery I use do or ever will use mouthwash unless it is prescribed for oral complaints such as Gingivitis and then it is one brand they recommend and only to be used for a short period of time as it can cause discolouration of teeth. What they recommend is to clean your teeth by brushing and include your tongue and your gums which I always have done and follow with a water gargle do not use a mouthwash.
