Do you think some of the top 48 America's Got Talent acts were chosen for reasons beyond talent?

Im guessing the producers and other people, not just the judges, let these acts through. Most of these guys are used to make the show look silly im guessing and to have something different than singers and dancers. I hope for next year the could just get rid of singers and hip hop dance groups. UNLESS they are stupidly good. People like Chips Cooney i find to be wonderful. I am a large comedy enthusiast. I have seen plenty of stand up comedians but i have never seen a comedic magician. For that reason i like him. Doogie however is a bad comic. He is mediocre at best. None of his bits are clever and just have to do with his beard. Ronith is funny but i got tired of him very quickly. So i agree with some but overall they do need some better judging.
